Compatibility API

Send two people's birth dates (and birth times) and get, in one JSON response, their Saju compatibility, zodiac compatibility, Chinese zodiac animal compatibility, and an overall score that combines them with weights for the purpose you choose. Saju (Four Pillars of Destiny) is the Korean system that reads a person from the year, month, day and hour of birth. The product is called "Compatibility" and uses the same engine as the compatibility screen of the INTA app. The same input always gives the same result.

What it returns

• Saju compatibility — a day-pillar compatibility table (the day pillar is the pillar of the birth day, the core of a Saju chart), an eight-character analysis score, six axes (attraction, stability, growth, communication, passion and longevity), Five Elements complement and Ten Gods (saju)
• Relation table — combinations, clashes, punishments, harms and breaks between the two natal charts, grouped by position, with their score (relations·p2Score)
• Zodiac compatibility — a comparison of Sun, Moon and rising signs, the planets for the chosen purpose, and up to 2 pre-written reading paragraphs (astroSynastry·astroReadings)
• Animal sign compatibility — how the two Chinese zodiac animals' Earthly Branches relate, and a grade (tti)
• Overall score — a 0–100 score that combines the five scores with weights for the purpose (headerBreakdown)
• Relationship paragraphs — 2–3 pre-written sentences for each pairing of the two day pillars and each kind of relationship (categoryNarrative)

Options

The birth time is optional for each person. The details, flow and MBTI options can be added to the same call at no extra charge. If you need the same result as the INTA app, send the birth country and exact for each person whose birth time is known.

Authentication uses the X-Partner-Api-Key header, and the base URL is https://api.hrum.ai/api/v1/partners/v1. Python and JavaScript examples and error handling are in the Get Started guide.

Pricing

Compatibility costs ₩20 per call (excl. VAT; ₩22 incl. VAT). Only successful calls are deducted from prepaid credits; 4xx and 5xx error responses are not charged.

Store a result once you have it, and reuse it. Sending the same request again is charged again. The same birth date and time with the same options always gives the same result, so save the first response in your database (for example, keyed by a hash of the request body) and use the saved value from then on at no cost. For results that change by date, such as a daily fortune, include the date in the key and reuse the result for that day only.
