Astrology API

Send a birth date, time and coordinates and get, in one JSON response, the 10 planets from the Sun to Pluto, the lunar nodes, the 4 angles, houses, aspects and dignities, together with reading paragraphs written in advance by HRUM. The product is called "Astrology Total", and it does not use an LLM.

What it returns

• Natal chart — planet positions, signs, degrees and houses, angles, aspects and dignities (natal)
• Reading paragraphs — pre-written paragraphs for dignities and aspects, always included at no extra charge (readings)
• Transits and secondary progressions — when the request includes timing (timing)
• Synastry — when the request includes partner, the aspects and sign relationships between the two people (synastry)

Values you choose yourself

The house system defaults to Placidus and can be changed with houseSystems. The transit and progression orb (timing.orbDegrees) has no default because the classical sources disagree on it, so it is required whenever you send timing. Leaving it empty returns 400.

What is not included

Minor dignities and reception, progressed angles (progressed ASC and MC), and synastry house overlays are not returned. The full list is in the reference.

If you use /natal-chart

The natal chart product (/natal-chart) has been discontinued. For a new integration, use /astrology, which takes the same birth input.

Authentication uses the X-Partner-Api-Key header, and the base URL is https://api.hrum.ai/api/v1/partners/v1. Python and JavaScript examples and error handling are in the Get Started guide.

Pricing

Astrology Total costs ₩50 per call (excl. VAT; ₩55 incl. VAT). Adding timing or partner keeps the same single-call price, whatever the house systems or minor aspects. Only successful calls are deducted from prepaid credits; 4xx and 5xx error responses are not charged.

Store a result once you have it, and reuse it. Sending the same request again is charged again. The same birth date and time with the same options always gives the same result, so save the first response in your database (for example, keyed by a hash of the request body) and use the saved value from then on at no cost. For results that change by date, such as a daily fortune, include the date in the key and reuse the result for that day only.
